Sounds like you guys have it pretty well in hand.

I did my test run of Sugar Cookies today, going to make some decorated ones with royal icing and I'll also send some chocolate chip cookie bars along and some candy maybe, I have to make some this weekend so I might have some extra to send out, won't be a ton though unfortunately.

Awesome. Looking good Ransim. I ordered a silpat and a cookie scoop.

As far as the platters, I'm thinking a Child's Play Invitational Platter? One of every kind of cookie brought to the Invitational. We can do two and see what happens? Sounds like more of an auction item.

Paul, great idea on the bake sale plates. That would be perfect for the mixer awards at the end. A grab and go kind of thing. I don't have a lot of experience with that, how do you suggest doing it?

I've never done it either, but I'd put a selection of different cookies on some disposable plates, and then saran wrap them closed.

I'm in for baking.  I'll bake on the 19th and plan on making the following unless I get direction otherwise:

1 dz Combustible Lemons
6 ea Weighted Companion Cookies
1 dz Sweetrolls
1 dz Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip (Gluten Free)
1 dz Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bacon (Gluten Free)
1 dz Vegan cookies of some sort (unless someone else does some, cuz vegan cookies are a pretty minority demand)

I also might do a smoked salt chocolate decadence cookie (gluten free) if it looks like there's time.

Also, I'd like to reiterate that while PAX is about quantity, this event is about quality.  You know all those really cute, detailed, fancy cookies that you want to make for PAX but they're too delicate for the brigadier bags?

NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!  Fancy cookies wanted! This is exactly the event to show off your baking chops and really get intricate.  The more precise and professional, the better.

Okay, it looks like we have a total of 65 from Lexi with 36 being specialized diet

45 sugar cookies, 20  chocolate peanut butter chip bars and 20 space invaders from ransim

2 dozen peanut butter, 2 dozen chocolate chip and 1 dozen peanut butter chocolate chip bars from Tegan J

some cookies from Emimonster

If bakers can update me with details I will plan on filling in gaps.

I am making:

1 dozen fudge slices
2 dozen (or more) pacman sandwich cookies
5 dozen peanut butter sriracha
2 dozen nutella

that's a grand total of 330 cookies plus emimonster at an unspecified amount. Anyone see any glaring omissions?

Kintyre - let me know if you want me to take on any of the special-order cookies.  I'm happy to oblige.

Also, let me know if you need any more big, fat, classic chocolate chip.  Joe loves making those.

For future reference, When I asked Jamie for requests, even though she's listed as lemon sugar cookies in Ransim's post she asked for peanut butter and chocolate chip. Not sure, but for her it may be that she likes them all.

Lexi - I'll wait until I have a better overall picture. I'm thinking we'll be good. I can always add some Neiman Marcus cookies (chocolate chip oatmeal, but the oatmeal is ground so it's more of a multigrain choc chip. ) And a batch is 5 dozen.

Okay so far I have 45 iced sugar cookies I'll be sending. I'll also have probably 2 dozen chocolate chip and another 2 dozen chocolate chip cookie bars. I'll have exact numbers on chocolate chip and the bars by the end of the weekend. I'll be mailing first thing Monday morning priority mail.

This was my first go at making iced sugar cookies, it was fun, time consuming, but fun.

Here are my totals:

45 Invicibility Star Sugar Cookies
20 Toll House Cookie Bars (with chocolate and Reese's chips)
20 bags of space invaders candy, only two flavors compared to the number I do for PAX.

Hmmm, I'd offer to bake some for this one, but my presentation skills are not something to boast about.  Does it matter if they look fancy or is round OK?

I think round is perfectly fine.

I believe Lexi's point was more that for people who enjoy making the fancy cookies that would normally end up destroyed at PAX this is a chance to flex your baking muscles.  ;)
